Zinc is a widely used mineral to improve the body immunity. In addition, it is an important antioxidant too. Yashad is anti-allergic (sheeta-pitta-hara, pitta-nashaka), anti-tussive (kasa-hara), anti-asthmatic (shvasa-apaha), immuno-modulator (rasa-pinda-vikriti-nashaka).

Shatika is a potent ayurvedic drug that counters the allergic process. In addition, it alleviates cough, relieves swelling and pain, dilates the constricted air passages, relieves the spasm, and counters the bacteria.

Madhuyashti is an effective anti-allergic. In addition, it alleviates swelling, too.

Zaharmohra is an effective medicine to counter the toxic substances in the body, including those produced during the allergic response. Zaharmohra is anti-allergic (vishapaha) and immunomodulator (bala-vardhaka).

In case the patient has difficulty in breathing (asthma) due to allergy, simultaneous use of ASTHEX Tablet helps a lot in bringing out the improvement.

In case the patient has food allergy, it is good if the patient is prescribed ENTRID Tablet, concurrently.

In case of skin allergy, DERMIN Oil should be applied locally on the affected parts of the skin.

Further, while managing allergy, two more medicines are quite useful. These are LOCID Tablet (antacid) and LIVIE Tablet (liver tonic). Simultaneous use of these two medicines along with LERGEX Tablet brings about excellent results in allergy and allergic disorders.

INDICATION

LIVER: LIVIE Tablet is mainly used for treating liver diseases like jaundice, Hepatitis A/B/C, Liver damage caused by alocohol / allopathic drugs, fatty infiltration of (collection of fat in) the liver, abnormal liver enzymes (SGOT, SGPT, Alkaline phosphatase, etc.).

GALL BLADDER: LIVIE Tablet may help in the gall bladder stones, especially, in the early stages (sand / sludge).

KIDNEYS: LIVIE Tablet is quite useful in several diseases of the kidneys, especially, when the blood urea and creatinine rise due to some reversible damage (abnormality) in the kidneys. It helps dissolve urinary stones, especially when new and not-so-large-in-size. LIVIE Tablet is useful when there occurs abnormal collection of water (edema) in the body due to liver or kidney diseases.

SPLEEN: LIVIE Tablet is useful when the spleen is enlarged (due to non-fatal causes).

PANCREAS: LIVIE Tablet is useful in the swelling in the pancreas (pancreatitis).

METABOLIC DISEASES: LIVIE Tablet is useful as a supportive treatment for the management of diseases occurring due to disturbed metabolism, like obesity (overweight), diabetes, gout, high blood cholesterol and triglycerides, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism).
