Hingul is antipyretic (jvara-hara), anti-rheumatic (ama-vata-hara), anti-toxic (gara-hara), and bioavailability enhancer (yogavahi).
Vatsanabh is analgesic (vedana-sthapana) and antipyretic (jvara-hara). The principal mechanism underlying the analgesic action is – the acetyl and benzoyl esters present in the diester diterpinoid alkaloids bind to the sodium channels and activate the influx of Na+ ions through cell membranes.
Godanti is an analgesic (vedna-hara) and antipyretic (jvara-hara). It is widely used for the management of headache, fever, body-ache, and other painful conditions.
Jatiphal is analgesic (shula-nut), anti-inflammatory (vrana-hara), anti-rheumatic (ama-vata-hara), and modulates neuro-endocrine mechanisms (anil-apaham). It showed sedative and analgesic effects, with no harmful effects on blood pressure and ECG. With the current information, it is evident that M. fragrans has pharmacological functions including anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-convulsant, antibacterial, antifungal and antioxidant activities.
Avoid during pregnancy, children below 6 years, advanced liver and kidney diseases, weak heart.

HOW TO USE |
ADULTS: Initial dose: 2 tablets stat + 1-2 tabs twice / thrice a day until the pain is controlled. Maintenance dose: 1 tablet once / twice a day / SOS. CHILDREN (6-12 years): 1/2 – 1 tablet twice / thrice a day or as and when needed (SOS). To be swallowed with water, just after / within meals. In children, crush and administer with honey, water, milk, fruit juice. |
